The Shurflo 8000-533-250 Bypass 115 VAC Diaphragm Pump is a compact pump that is recommended for agricultural spraying applications that require high pressure with low flow rates and low amp draw. It will make the perfect addition on a spot sprayer or agricultural sprayer. Designed for easy maintenance, the Shurflo 8000-533-250 can be mounted in any position and can be run dry. The spherically-shaped valves and internal bypass make these pumps the top choice for applications that need consistent, reliable operation and priming. The bypass mode is useful in applications that normally require frequent stopping and starting of the motor, which creates the potential for overheating. Bypass pumps pump at higher pressures at low flow rates and are ideal for applications requiring a wide range of flows and pressures (ex. spray boom with multiple nozzles, each controlled separately). The pump will run regardless of pressure in the system. The flow rate is different if one nozzle is turned on compared to turning two or more on. As nozzles are turned off, excess flow is bypassed within the pump. A male 3/8" HB kit is included to attach the pump to a hose with a 3/8" ID.
